2009 CCYB World Series Team Tryouts
August 1 - 8 in Anaheim, CA
Tryouts
- Saturday, June 20th at Metro Baseball Academy located at 125 SE Stark
- Tryout times can be found below
- If you are unable to attend your tryout time, arrangements can be made
Age Divisions (Age as of April 30, 2009)
- Players can play up a level if it is necessary
- 10U 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
- 11U 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
- 12U 10:30 - 12:00 p.m.
- 13U 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
- 14U 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.
- 18U 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Cost - $500 per player covers:
- Coaching Staff
- Uniforms
- Practice Time
- Tournament Entry Fee
- Cost does not include transportation or hotel rooms
Hotel - Anaheim Marriott Suites
- $125 per night (Reduced Rate for Metro Baseball Academy)
- Close to baseball fields
- Shuttle to Disneyland and California Adventure

The "Warehouse" has nearly 10,000 square feet of indoor practice area, including:
- 3 indoor batting cages
- 1 Jugs pitching machine, 1 Lite Flite pitching machine and other pitching equipment
- 4 pitching mounds
- numerous L screens, sock nets, Ts and variety of balls
- Infield practice area
- Video analysis
Our facility is available for rent for:
- League or team tryouts
- Team practice
- Individual practice

Unfortunately, some of our programs are rather expensive. For instance, our travel teams often must travel by airplane, stay in hotels, spend time living on the road, etc. While we try to keep the price of our camps and other programs as competitive as possible, we still have overhead to provide these opportunities. We would ask that you contact us if you, or your business, would consider making a donation to provide scholarship assistance for a needy, but qualified, player. Scholarships are also needed to allow needy players access to our camps and instructional programs. Donations may either be made publicly or anonymously.
